Final Photo Project

I feel like the picture would've been better if the focus was more on the head of the lizard rather than the legs and bark

I really wish the background in this photo was more green and vibrant.

I really like how many unique shapes and colors were here, I wish I had used it as the background for some type of portrait. I also wish to have included more of the surroundings

This is my favorite photo that I took of Orlrich. If I were to make it any better I would have wished to have him more centered.

I really like this picture because of the warm colors and the sense of comfort. Another that I wish I had a subject so that I could use it as a background for a portrait.

I like this photo because you can see the face of the driver and just the overall hospitality shown on both ends of the interaction.

This was a very important early photo for me to understand photography and positioning. It humbled me trying to get it flying around without it falling and having to put it in the right spot

I really enjoy all the small details on such a huge tree. It became a repeatedly used spot by me

The process of getting this photo really humbled me. It probably took me two class sessions trying to really get down the depth of field. The end result was such a colorful pink that made me proud.

The most recent picture that I took, I chose this picture because of the sunlight illuminating the outlines of the leaves.

Reflection:

What I took away from this class is balance and patience. You can't rush anything in the process or it won't be the result you were picturing. I chose balance because you can not have too much of anything, you have to find the balance. For example, you can't have too much light invading the frame or you can barely see the subject and you can barely see the subject as well if you do not have enough light. You also have to know the correct settings on the camera to really utilize it well. I would say that these principles also apply to the discussions that were had in the classroom. You must have patience so that you can think rationally. You must also have balance like in the technology discussions. You must have balance in order to not be enslaved by your device. I feel like this course has taught me a lot of different perspectives which are important to have. You must learn different ways to achieve different things. You must think of the human brain and the way that it reads images. Overall. this class has really enriched my understanding of perspective, balance, patience and helped me take better photos in general.

Naturalia:

When human structures or other pieces of work gradually become overrun or reclaimed by nature over the course of time.
